Camera 1 (Main camera)
Please, position yourself here at the "Alter Strom" (see first picture above):http://www.kettenkasten.de/webcam/picture.jpg
The camera takes a picture every minute (or somwtimes every other minute), the time of the picture can be seen in the picture (upper right corner).
Then you have to take a screenshot of the display for getting a picture for the log.
If you can not do it on the go and cannot find anybody who can do that for you - no problem, there is a list of the pictures taken by the camera. These are grouped by year, month and day, so all you have to do is noting day and time (local time on site, of course) and get your picture later.
If cou come here as a group of geocachers and are all on one picture, only one person has to append the picture to the log. The others should just write with whom they were here.
Camera 2 (Backup live camera) - Sorry, not available at the moment.
If the above camera is not working, there is an alternative cam (east of the "Ferienresidenz am Strom" - the camera is clearly visible). Look at the second picture above to get a hint of the area where you can be seen by this cam.This is the link to the camera: Am Strom 72.
This could be difficult when on the move, as this camera is demanding:
- The ability to make a screenshot and to save it as a picture
- High data transfer rate
- A little patience (about 1min) to wait for the establishment of the live broadcast
In cases that you are unable to take a picture, it can therefore be better to have someone else at home/office for taking the screenshot. This person will be rewarded with a real live video. So you can jump around and at home it will be seen live :)

Ein weiterer Tag, ein weiterer Stop auf unserer Reise mit unserem Camper OS_Car durch die Welt. Der Duft von Freiheit liegt in der Luft, das Navi kennt nur 'Weiter' – und zwischendurch ein Cache, der uns ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert. Logbuch signiert, Erinnerung gespeichert. Danke für diesen kleinen Schatz am Wegesrand!

Ein Brückentag und langes Wochenende stand vor der Tür. Doch wohin soll die Reise gehen?
Beim Plaudern mit Sandokan22 fantasierten wir über mögliche Ziele.
Irgendwann meinte sie "Ich bin für Ostsee 🫢"
Und zur Ostsee muss man mich nicht überreden, auch wenn ich schon dreimal dieses Jahr dort war. Schließlich ist die Ostsee zu jeder Jahreszeit schön. Außerdem ist da niemals Ebbe.
Beim Stöbern über die Karte fiel die Wahl dann auf Rerik. Die Dame mag ja Steilküsten, und zu meiner Überraschung gibt es die hier.
Dann folgte ein Marathon an Aufgaben: FeWo finden, Rätsel lösen, Packen... am nächsten Tag sollte es ja schon losgehen. Spontan sein können wir. Mit Kind und Kegel ging es also in den Norden, um dort vier schöne und cachereiche Tage zu verbringen.
Heute ging es für uns Richtung Warnemünde und Rostock, um am Ende in Rövershagen zu enden.
Da ich die Webcam noch nicht hatte, kamen wir hier natürlich gleich mal mit vorbei.

Auf dem Heimweg von Rostock mal kurz hier her und speziell wegen der WebCam hier her. Wo ich die Cam entdeckt hatte, kam die Stimme aus dem Hinterhalt 😜, der "Chef" vom Boot zeigte sie mir auch. 2 Screenshots, dann ging es weiter.

Logge meine Fund von Geocaching.com nach:
Vor der Überfahrt in den Norden noch diese Webcam besucht und meinem bunt gepunketen Regenschirm unter dem Roten Schirm aufgespannt..
Und dem Steinhorn hat natürlich die Riesen-Bratwurst gefallen :D
