Route 46
The idea behind this multi-cache is to introduce you to some of the secrets behind the Route 46. Not a quick cache.

The Route 46 runs within the area described by the following coordinates
N 50° 06.000'
N 50° 19.000'
E 09° 36.000'
E 09° 55.000'
The cache hunt starts at the car-park with the coordinates
N 50°09.970' E 09°41.340'
The cache consists of 11 stages, the first 10 of them being intermediate stages which are designed to guide you to the final stage (Stage 11).
Note that all intermediate stages are part of the Route 46.
The coordinates of Stage 1 are
N50 10.005 E9 41.150
The coordinates of the final cache (Stage 11) are as follows:
N 50°AB.CDE' E 09°FG.HIJ'
To obtain the digits A up to J you need to pass through all the ten intermediate stages.
To be able to move from one stage to the next, at each of the intermediate stages the approximate distance to the next stage (measured in meters) is written. (Keep in mind that all intermediate stages are part of the Route 46!)
Very important note:
A reasonable map of the area mentioned above is needed for doing this cache.
A pair of compasses might come in handy for marking the location of the intermediate stages on your map.
Keep in mind that the Route 46 is not a round-trip (otherwise we would have called the cache Round 46 ;-)). For this reason, it will turn out to be convenient to have a car or a motorbike at your disposition (Purists might consider to walk all the way).
At some points using a highway will speed up your journey.

Tja, der steht schon von Anfang meiner Cacherkariere auf der Todoliste. Und endlich, als Vorbereitung auf den Hochrhöner, hat es endlich geklappt. Zusammen mit Onkel Radar einen tollen Tag verbracht. Ich mag historische Sachen, und was man hier im Wald sieht ist echt toll. Die haben schon damals ihr Handwerk beherrscht. Vor allem wenn man die Bauwerke sieht, die teilweise aussehen wie neu. Ein toller, wenn auch sehr anstrengender Cache. Aber jeder Meter der 15km waren es wert. Onkel Radar hat ja schon erwähnt, das wir eine Stage mit Edding wiederbelebt haben und bei einer nur mit Ownerhilfe weiterkamen. Ansonsten ist alles gut zu finden.
Vielen Dank an die Owner für dieses tolle Erlebnis. Leider hatte ich keine Dose zur Hand, sonst hätte ich gerne das Final gefixt.

Mit Habeline, Hablos, Ironmaddin und den 2 Mädels gesucht und gefunden.Das ist wahrlich kein Cache für Fusskranke ;-)
Und richtig Spass macht er erst, wenn ein Zahlendreher im Garmin und noch Sauwetter die Füsse schwer werden lässt. 6,5 Stunden ohne Autobahnparkplatz einfache Strecke.
Das war eine würdige 1.Mai Route 46

Taschentuch

Hammer Cache, das war ganz großes Kino. Doch konnten sich uns (Brixel und Taschentuch) keine Bäume und Sträucher in den Weg stellen. Teilweise sehr anstrengend und wirklich keine Mahlzeit für zwischen durch. Bitte an Stage 2 mal nachbessern, da haben wir doch stark geraten. Stage 6 auch etwas verwirrend aber ok. Im ganzen eine sehr schöne Strecke. Mein Tip: macht das ganze bei gutem Wetter und nicht während der Regenzeit. Vielen Dank, bitte gerne noch so ein paar Caches.
