At Stage 1 you can find a squirrel.

The squirrel will tell you a call number: 0222/ABC DE FG. With the help of the squirrel you can calculate the coordinates for Stage 2.

Look out for a letter on a stone. The stone is hidden at the root of a tree. Transform the letter into a number (A=1, B=2,...Z=26). I call the hint H.

This time we had not a "frozen cache" but a "Frozen Stage 2"! Luckily we got help from two little Junior-Cachers Max and Felix (age 5 and 7) [:)] from team ATZIPZAP - whitch came suddenly along the path beside the sqirrel with explicit "intentions".
It was very difficult to access the "letter on a stone" becouse of winter season.
"atzipzap" had the marvellous idea to digitally image the stone for successful reading the letter!
The cache itself, finally, was found quickly by the Juniors'.

After some computer maintenance at by sisters place (which is very close to the starting point for this cache) I made this walk to retrieve another well-done Vagabond-cache. Great views over Vienna - I like this! Thanks for sending me out for a few kilometers after fiddling around with little screwdrivers on a few millimeters...

A very nice walk through the hills with great views! Unfortunately it was a bit hazy today, so I could not see very far.
I found the stages without problems (not always using the best route - then again when is a route better than the other?), the cache is also fine.

Our 2nd cache today, again found by Pippa, everything went
smoothly. Gave us a nice hike to another place we have´nt been before. Great view from this area on that warm and sunny day! Cache feels fine, so did we - thx to Vagabund!

Mit den ersten Regentropfen des Gewitters haben wir den Cache noch gefunden.
Die Koordinaten waren sehr präzise. Dadurch gab es auch keine Probleme beim Finden der Hinweise und des Caches.

Habe das doch noch schöne Nachmittagswetter genutzt und den Cache gesucht (und auch gefunden ). Die einzelnen Stages waren recht gut zu finden. In der Nähe der "Fundstelle" war ich zu letzten Silvester, wunderbare Aussicht auf Wien (nicht nur den Sueden).

Nach dem Föhrenwald kam ich noch hierher. Das GPS-Signal hatte heute so seine Mucken: erst 50 m gradeaus, dann von einem Moment zum anderen 100 m nach hinten, bei gleichbleibender Genauigkeit.

In: Hexe, alte Banknote (von tschechoslowakisch mittels Aufkleber auf slowakisch "umgemünzt")
P.S: Der Stein bei Stage 2 lag ziemlich offen rum, ich hab ihn wieder etwas besser "eingebaut", damit er nicht beim nächsten Sturm wegkullert.

Danke für diesen schönen Cache in einer Gegend in der ich vorher noch nie war.
Station 1 war schnell gefunden, Station 2 nach einigen Schweissperlen ebenso. Beim Cache angekommen erwartete mich dann noch eine Überraschung - eine knapp 80 cm lange Äskulapnatter nutzte die warme Erde beim Cache für ein Sonnenbad. Obwohl die Schlange gleich reissaus nahm, gelang es mir dann doch noch sie für ein Photoshooting zu stellen :)
