This cache deals with an interesting - but usually not well known - hobby, amateur radio - often mistaken with the CB radio or also "Jedermannfunk". The cache is dedicated to the 50-year-old existence of amateur radio association in Neuss. Aim with this cache is to inspire radio hams - particularly youngsters - for geocaching on the one hand and to interest, on the other hand, geocachers for the possibilities of amateur radio. A connection according to radio between both hobbies already exists for longer times: the so-called "geofoxing". You can find information about this in the net.All answers to the put questions can be answered also on Internet: one must surf on the website of the amateur radio association.

Of course the coordinates are fictive. But very near - on the other side of the building - one has the look at the aerials of one of the school stations of the amateur radio association Neuss.

Project "HZehn" cnt'd. Today I took the bike around the NW to NW end of my take zone, cleaning whole areas as much as possible. While I seemed to tire early, I managed to stay in the saddle for 12h, making 48 finds and one DNF. The weather remained brilliant, albeit a little on the windy side. I didn't seem in top form today, so finding quite a few caches took me longer than strictly necessary, but at least I persevered and, with that one exception, always prevailed.

I found this mystery surprisingly difficult to research as the website didn't reveal the relevant information that easily. In the end my pigheadedness overcame these odds and I got good coords. Outdoors, locating the cache box was straightforward.

Das umfangreiche Rätsel war gut zu lösen (wenn ich auch in Antwort 8 zunächst einen Bock hatte ), und vor Ort befürchtete ich schon eine längere Suche. Dann aber fiel mir recht schnell die halb enttarnte Dose ins Auge, und ich konnte aufatmen. Jetzt ist sie jedenfalls wieder so versteckt, wie es wahrscheinlich beabsichtigt ist.

Das Rätsel war gut lösbar gewesen, aber RIESENMUGGELGEFAHR bestand um der Uhrzeit nicht. Da ich sowieso dort hin musste(so wie jeden Tag), gleich mal nach den Dösken gesucht. Um 16 Uhr konnten wir uns in einen ruhigen Moment im Logbuch eintragen.
Ich hoffe nur, dass es bald wieder tolle rapebe Mysterys geben wird, da ich fast alle schon gemacht habe.

Netter kleiner Rätselcache. Bei einigen Fragen muß man sich als Owner aber ziemlich sicher sein, dass die notwendige Internetseite nicht zu oft aktualisiert wird ;-)

Örtlich war das Döschen trotz hordenweise Joggermuggel früh morgens schnell zu finden.

Da mir (Marco) die Materie ja nicht unbekannt ist, konnte ich einige Frage aus dem Stegreif beantworten. Andere hingegen mussten recherchiert werden, was jedoch nicht allzu lange dauerte
Eine interessante Verbindung der beiden Hobbies gibt es bald hier:

Danke für den Cache, der mich mal wieder zu meiner alten Schule geführt hat. Hier startete Anfang der 80er eine Amateurfunk-AG unter der "Leitung" von DF4EU, durch die ich dann letztendlich auch zum HAM wurde

Hups, ein neuer rapebe Cache? Schnell waren die Aufgaben gelöst und heute nach der Arbeit ging es an den Outdoor-Teil.
Vor Ort habe ich dann Team Timia und Team Tayjan mit ihrem kleinen süßen Sohn getroffen und wir konnten gemeinsam loggen.
