Beschreibung

Savaged Trails is a series of caches on mountains of the Salzkammergut exploring unknown, unmarked or forgotten paths.
It was inititated by Dieter who had the ideas and showed us the locations.

#1 Hiaslalm - Eibenberg

Duration: 3.5-4h
v-Distance: 800m (car-cache-car)
Equipment: Hiking equipment
Ability: Surefootedness

We recommend to search for this cache after visiting Eibenberg

Please Park your car at N 47° 46.117 E 013° 48.817 and follow the way up to Hiaslalm (header coordinates).

On the east side of the Hiaslalm enter the wood (believe me there is a path) and move on to

INTRO (N47 46.666 E13 49.055) to start the challenge. Sometimes you'll have to search for the trail.

After finding the cache at N47 46.557 E13 49.214 (be careful -steep terrain) you'll

hit the "road" at N47 46.581 E13 49.026.

31. Oktober 2009 npg hat den Geocache gefunden

Fog araound everywhere... maybe up there at Hiaslalm the sun will warm me..
Nada - still fog up here, but enough sight to find the trail [;)].
..and yes- there is a trail.. followed him, and reached the final location.
Shortly after found the not yet savaged box (therefore lying since some time alone here)-
... then back to Hiaslalm- and some meters up, yeah ...after 50m altitude the sun comes out [:D].
