The D1 mission was one of the best known and most successful "stories" in the history of the astronautics. Among 8 crew members were also 2 German participants who carried out in the European spacelab researches which concerned physics, biology, medicine and navigation. Beside the USA Bavaria also played an important role as a controlling centre. Jokingly one spoke of „Bavarian Houston“. At that time the German astronauts and also the Dutch participant were distinguished for her achievements with the “Bundesverdienstkreuz erster Klasse.
As I couldn't book a ticket in the orbit immediately, i had to deposit the cache "here on earth". This happened at a place, in which immediate surroundings one can buy things which can give you ideas for the construction of your own "small rockets", if you think creative.

Lange ist's her, aber es gibt ja nichts, was man nicht im Netz findet 
Vor Ort musste ich aber zwei S-Bahnen abwarten, bevor ein sicherer Zugriff erfolgen konnte.

Dieses Rätsel weckte
einige Erinnerungen bei mir, weil ich damals™ als Jugendlicher diese
Mission mit Spannung und großem Interesse verfolgt habe. 
Auch deswegen hat es mir besonderen Spaß gemacht, das Rätsel zu lösen. 
Bei Frage 4 war ich kurz unsicher, aber die Rechnung ergab dann doch ein eindeutiges Bild. 
Den
Cache konnte ich dann heute nach kurzer Suche gut finden, nachdem ich
abgewartet hatte, dass eine in unmittelbarer Nähe wartende Muggelin 
endlich abgeholt wurde. So eine Form hatte ich auch noch nicht gefunden - was es nicht alles gibt!
Mit
diesem Fund ist nun rapebe bei uns derjenige Owner, von dem wir die
meisten Caches gesucht und gefunden haben. Das ist Grund genug, Dir,
lieber rapebe, mal ein besonders herzliches "Dankeschön!" zu sagen für
die zahlreichen kreativen und gut versteckten Caches und nichts zuletzt
auch die unterhaltsamen und fairen Rätsel!
Danke im Besonderen dabei auch für die hilfsbereite und geduldige
Unterstützung per E-Mail! Wir finden es toll, dass Du den Umkreis hier
so ideenreich und ausdauernd mit Caches "versorgst"!

Ein schönes Rätsel, ein schneller Fund! Man was war das für eine Zeit
