Xeis: Dach(l)

Eindrucksvolle aber auch anspruchsvolle Bergtour auf den Dachfirst der Hochtorgruppe. Impressive but demanding trip to the rooftop of the Hochtorgroup.

Trittsicherheit und schwindelfreiheit sowie Kletterfertigkeit bis II+ (laut Wegtafel, meiner Meinung nach nirgendwo über I-II) sind notwendig.
Wem das zu einfach ist der findet in den Wänden der Hochtorgruppe Kletterrouten bis in den neunten Schwierigkeitsgrad.
Mehr Informationen will ich nicht geben - wer sich für diesen Cache interessiert sollte sich die Zeit nehmen die Wege (und Fluchtwege) dieser Gegend zu recherchieren (Eine Beschreibung).

Als Eintages-Tour ist die Sache anstrengend (1850hm, je nach Abstiegsroute zwischen 12 und 9h), besser in der Hesshütte oder zumindest der Haindlkarhütte übernachten.
Will man vom Cache weiter zum Hochtor sollte man bedenken das keiner der Abstiege vom Gipfel wirklich einfach ist, und in der Gipfelwand noch ein paar anspruchsvolle Stellen sind.
Nehmt zumindest einen Helm mit.

In Zukunft werde ich noch einige weitere (auch leichtere ) Caches in dieser eindrucksvollen Gegend verstecken.

The Cache is hidden in the cleft between the Dachl ('roof') and Hochtor-Summit. It's hidden in a place where you can search without any kind of danger.

You should be able to climb up to UIAA II+.
One can find climbing routes up to UIAA IX in the north face of the Hochtor group, if this is to easy for you. Since getting infos about this area in english is pretty difficult you can mail me for a thorough description of the various paths and escape possibilities.

Getting the cache in one day is pretty strenuous (more than 6000 feet ascent, depending on which way you go down between 12h and 9h), consider spending a night in either the Haindlkarhütte or the Hesshütte.
If you want to continue upwarts to the Hochtor remeber that there a no real easy path down this mountain, and that there are still some difficult parts in the headwall.
Bring at least a helmet.
