Was ist ein Letterbox-Hybrid-Cache? Kurze Antwort, übersetzt aus den Guidelinies: "Letterbox-Hybride sind eine Mischung aus Letterbox und Geocache. Sie sollten einen Erkennungsmerkmalsstempel enthalten, der zum Verbleib in der Box gedacht ist, und sie müssen den Richtlinien für Traditional Caches entsprechen und daher ein Logbuch enthalten. Ihre Positionen müssen mit Längen- und Breitengrad angegeben werden, nicht nur mit Hinweisen." Ausführliche Antwort bzw. ein Kommentar dazu.

Der Weg zum Cache
"There's more than one way to do it" ('Es gibt mehr als einen Weg, die Aufgabe anzupacken'),
abgekürzt TMTOWTDI (sprich: "Tim Toady"), ist das Motto der Programmiersprache PERL,
das auch wunderbar zu diesem Hybrid-Geocache passt, denn man kann ihn auf verschiedene Weisen angehen:

Als Traditional: einfach die angegebenen Koordinaten ansteuern.


Als Multi: den Weg über verschiedene empfohlene Stationen nehmen, da es nicht ganz einfach ist,
den besten Zugang zum Cache zu finden. (An den einzelnen Stationen müsst Ihr natürlich nix machen.)
Je nachdem, von wo Ihr kommt, gibt es folgende Möglichkeiten, zum Cache zu gehen:

1. Ihr seid auf der A1 Richtung Süden unterwegs und steht auf dem westlichen Rastplatz
   (Luftlinie zum Cache: ca. 460 m, Wegstrecke: ca. 1,6 km).
2. Ihr seid auf der A1 Richtung Norden unterwegs und steht auf dem östlichen Rastplatz
   (Luftlinie zum Cache: ca. 260 m, Wegstrecke: ca. 400 m).
3. Ihr geht den Cache nicht von der Autobahn aus an
   (Wegstrecke je nach Startpunkt 650 bis 900 m).

Der TB-Safe
Zweck des Caches ist, eine Anlaufstation im Münsterland für alle Arten von Reisenden wie Travel Bugs, Geocoins, Jeep TBs, ... zu sein,
um ihnen das überregionale Reisen zu erleichtern. Hoffentlich erweist sich der Safe in seinem Versteck als sicher aufgehoben.

Der Cache sollte eigentlich einfach zu finden zu sein, ein klassisches Versteck.
Für den Notfall gibt es noch einen Hint, das Suchen soll hier wirklich keine Schwierigkeit darstellen.
Das Gelände könnte etwas schlammig sein, und barfuß sollten in Cachenähe wirklich nur Fakire laufen (Dornen!)...
Terrain-Wertung wird ggf. an die aktuellen Bedingungen angepasst.

Spieler des Letterboxing finden einen Stempel (plus Stempelkissen) im Cache, mit dem sie ihr persönliches Logbuch abstempeln können.
Der Stempel plus Zubehör muss unbedingt im Cache bleiben!! Geocacher brauchen nicht zu stempeln.


Tauschen
Bitte tauscht nach Möglichkeit nur Reisende, damit nicht durch andere Tauschgegenstände der Platz für größere TBs zu knapp wird.
Es ist nicht zwingend nötig, dass immer mindestens ein Reisender im Cache verbleibt - die Überlegung beim Tauschen sollte sein,
welchem/n Reisenden man am besten helfen kann und welche man besser zurücklässt für andere Geocacher.
Enthält der Cache mehrere TBs, wäre es aber nicht so schön, wenn z. B. drei entnommen werden, aber nichts hineingelegt wird.
Naja, nicht zu viele Regeln, ich denke, Ihr werdet das schon vernünftig handhaben.

What is a letterbox bybrid cache? Short answer, quoted from the Guidelinies: "Letterbox hybrids are a mixture of letterbox and geocache. They should contain a signature stamp that stays with the box, and they must conform to the guidelines for traditional caches and therefore must contain a logbook. They must be referenced by latitude and longitude, not just clues." Detailed answer, or rather a comment (in German).

How to find the cache
"There's more than one way to do it",
abbreviated TMTOWTDI (pronounced "Tim Toady"), is the motto of the programming language PERL,

As a traditional cache: simply go the coordinates given above.


As a multi cache: follow the recommended routes with several stages as it is not so easy
to find the best way to the cache. (No tasks for you to complete at these stages, of course.)
Depending on where you started, you have one of the following options:

1. You are going in a southward direction on the motorway, so now you are at the service area to the west
   (linear distance: approx. 460 meters, distance to cover: approx. 1,6 km).
2. You are going in a northward direction on the motorway, so now you are at the service area to the east
   (linear distance: approx. 260 meters, distance to cover: approx. 400 meters).
3. You do not approach the cache from the motorway
   (distance to cover 650 to 900 meters, depending on your starting point).

The travel bug safe
The purpose of this cache is to provide a place of refuge for all kinds of travellers like TBs, geocoins, jeep TBs and others
to help them travel nationwide or abroad. Hopefully the safe turns out to be safe in its hiding place.

The cache should be fairly easy to find, it's a classic spot.
In case of need, there is a hint, but the search is not meant to be difficult.
Terrain might be muddy. Unless you are a fakir, don't walk barefoot near the cache (beware of thorns!).
If necessary, the terrain rating will be adjusted to the current conditions.

There is a rubber stamp (plus an ink pad) for players of letterboxing
in the cache, which they can use to stamp their own logbook.
The stamp and the pad must stay in the cache!! Geocachers don't have to stamp anything.


How to trade
If possible, please only trade travellers so that there is no lack of space for larger travel bugs due to other trade items.
It is not compulsory that one traveller remains in the cache at all times. When you trade, you should consider which travellers
you can help the most and which to leave for other geocachers to find.
If the cache contains several TBs, however, it wouldn't be very nice, for example, to take three and leave none.
Well, I don't want to make too many rules, I trust that you trade sensibly.
