The "Kapellbrücke" in Lucerne and the water tower beneath date back to the 14th century. Originally the bridge crossing the Reuss had a length of 285 meters and it was shortened several times down to the present length fo 205 meters. The water tower, originally built before the bridge as a watchtower, was once used as a prison, sometimes as an archive and treasury.

In the 17th century, the bridge received a picture-cycle in the gable elements, consisting of 158 panels, depicting the history of the city and the Republic of Lucerne. In August 1993, there was a great fire on the bridge which destroyed 81 of 111 picture panels.

To claim this virutal cache it would be fine if you would append a picture with you/your GPS-device near the bridge. At the coordinates there is an information board, where you will find the required password: There is one picture with a name on the board. Take the first word of the name as "Word1". Beneath this picture is another one with a copyright label. Take the surname as "Word2". The password is then composed as follows: Word1Word2; for example: JoeBloggs
