After ?Heart of Franken II? now ?Heart of Franken I?
To find this cache you have to know about an other animal
from Bamberg (look at Image2).
You have to find out the name of this animals as they are
described in a saga and as they are know to most of the
citizens of Bamberg.
You can find these animals(two) about 160m in direction
south-west of the Schlenkerla, for all ?nonebeerdrinkers?
it is in the old part of the city and has the coordinates
(N49°53.500' E10°53.093').
To calculate the coordinates of the cache you need the 5th
and the 7th character of the name(special characters are
counted as one, that means for instance ?ä? is ?ä? and
not ?ae?) and the position of these characters in the
alphabet.
The Cachecoordinates are
a = Position 7. character
b = Position 5. character
N49° 45.xxx with xxx = (a*a) + 59
E10° 57.yyy with yyy = (b*b) - 76

Der Cache wurde heute
komplett erneuert, leider war vom ursprünglichen
Cache nichts mehr zu
gebrauchen.
Das Logbuch war nur noch ein nasser Klumpen Papier und
wurde der
Natur zur Kompostierung überlassen, der Rest wird
als
Cache-In.....Trash-Out fachgerecht entsorgt.
Die Herzform (Heart
of...) wurde zugunsten der Dichtigkeit aufgegeben,
dafür sollte die
neue Box locker IPX7 erreichen.

Wir (Team Back Germany) haben dieser Cache schnell gefunden kurz vor Dunkelheit. Ganz schon dunkel in diesem Wald.

Das Rätsel hatte Anke noch schnell in BaWü gelöst, so dass wir zusammen mit Yellowtux vor dem Besuch der Keller noch diesen Cache abholen konnten.
Da das Logbuch voll ist, haben wir uns irgendwo zwischen drinnen eingetragen und den Cache nur dem den Tüten abgedeckt, damit dieser nicht noch mehr Feuchtigkeit aufnimmt, ohne sie wieder abgeben zu können. Hier muss dringend eine Wartung durchgeführt werden.
Danke für den Cache und das interessante Rätsel mit dem Ausflug in die hiesige Geschichte.

Nachdem das gelöste Rätsel schon länger bei uns Zuhause rumlag haben wir uns heute mal auf den Weg gemacht. Das Versteck war schnell gefunden nur leider ... Cache pitschpatschnass [:O]. Das Logbuch ist auch voll! Bitte, bitte neues Logbuch und Dose austauschen!!!
Trotzdem Danke für den Cache.

Cache # 97 - Dobbies # 41
Nach Heart of Franken II mussten wir natürlich auch den anderen Heart of Franken-Cache machen. Hier haben beim Loggen mindestens genauso viele Mücken (und Laubfrösche) gestört wie beim anderen. 
Den leckeren Keller in der Nähe haben wir auf unsere Einkehr-Liste gesetzt
