Kazinga-Kanal in Uganda

The Kazinga Channel in Uganda is a wide, 32-kilometre (20 mi) long natural channel that links Lake Edward and Lake George, and a dominant feature of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The channel attracts a varied range of animals and birds, with one of the world's largest concentration of hippos and numerous Nile crocodiles.

Lake George is a small lake with an average depth of only 2.4 metres (7.9 ft) and which is fed by streams from the Rwenzori mountains. Its outflow is through the Kazinga Channel which drains into Lake Edward, water levels fluctuating very little.

This cache reminds us of our trip to Uganda in 2018. We had many great experiences. Here at the Kazinga Canal, we have also been able to observe some animals.

Kazinga Canal has two accessible pavilions. These is a place probably waiting for the boat tours and a lunch with nice view. In the left pavilion in the direction of the Nile is a petling to one of the upper ceiling beams. The spoiler picture serves a hint.
