Description Deutsch · English
Joey Dunlop was a motorcycle racer who specialized in Road Racing.
He was able to win over 200 victories. He won the TT-F1 World Championship 5 times in a row. At the Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man, he managed 26 victories. A record that has not been broken to this day.
In 2000, the "King of the Mountains", as he was called by his fans because of his success on the Mountain Course, died at the age of 48 in a road race in Estonia.
His memorial stands high in the mountains of the Isle of Man, near the Bungelow section of the route. Befitting a modest, taciturn man, he sits on his motorbike and looks at the mountains.
Your task is now to visit Joey's monument.
