Many years ago, St. Patrick was an ordinary priest in Ireland. In times of severe famine, he realized that people needed more than just warm words and the fear of eternal damnation. He preached to the people of Ireland that it was not against any Christian commandment to distill whiskey. This is how Ireland became the first great whiskey nation. He rose to the rank of bishop and, out of gratitude, the Irish people called him St. Patrick. To this day, March 17, the day of Patrick's death, is the most important Irish holiday, St. Patrick's Day.*
About the church: Construction of the church began at the end of the 12th century. Most of the current church was completed by 1270. With a length of 91 meters and a tower height of 43 meters, the originally Celtic wooden church is now the largest church in Ireland.
About the cache: Your task is to take a picture of St. Patrick's Church. Please take the picture with a personal object of your choice or with yourself so that it is clear that the picture was taken for the cache and upload it to the log. I hope you have fun in Dublin.
*The church presents the canonization a little differently. It is up to you who you want to believe.
