Descripción
This is a hiking round about the heights of Cómpeta. One enjoys the view of the mountains, the Mediterranean Sea,
if sees Frigilana, Nerja, of course Cómpeta, Canillas de Albaida, Torrox and a lot more.
On a comfortable way it goes easily uphill and downhill. (The one or other abbreviation is not to be recommended).
The whole round lasts approx. 4 hours and richly offers insights into the animal world and plant world of the Axarquia.
Wild thyme and lemon thyme, rosemary, pine trees, sage, thistles,
camomile, Oleander, broom, wild grass, however, also salamander,
one can see butterflies, ladybirds, small queues and even ibexes if one has luck.
The way also leads partially in the footpath GR-249 and by the settlement Cruiz del Monte.
You can park at campo de fútbol or at Puerto del Collado.
The round exists of more than 20 caches with different degrees of difficulty and a bonus.
Of course everything happens on own danger and responsibility.
