The "Galatea-Fountain" was built in 1890 by Otto Rieth at the upper end of the "Eugens-Stairs". More Information (in german) can be found here. Kids enjoy this location as this fountain is suitable for a quick dip in the water and the "Pinguin" is always there for kids...

The Eugensplatz is one of my favorite places in Stuttgart, especially on warm summer evenings. It's worth to approach the cache from N48°46.693 E9°11.340, it's also more likely to find a parking spot there. At N48°46.665 E9°11.435 you can treat yourself for the little ascend (open until 22:00).

Because of the high density of muggles, the cache is a few meters away from the fountain, it should be accessible without too much trouble.

Ein weiterer Brunnencache verflüssigt sich...

Der Platz, der Blick und das Eis verdienen eigentlich schon ne Dose, wegen der permanenten Muggelgefahr müsste da aber was aufwändigeres hin. Zur Zeit komme ich nicht dazu, also gebe ich diese Location frei.

Gut, dass ich die aktuelle Beschreibung dabei hatte. So war das Döschen dann nach kurzer Zeit gefunden.
Danach hab ich natürlich noch eine leckere Belohnung mitgenommen. :-)
