The gorgeous Gleissental and its extension of the Hachinger Bach (brook) turns out to be an amazing scenic peculiarity. This 25 meters deep insection evolved from the effluent melt water of the Isar glacier, so that you can find geological characteristics as "Nagelfluh" and tertiary outcrops.

It is totally up to you, from which side you approach the cache. The distance is particularly suitable for a walking-tour, but also for mountain-bikes and "off-road" prams. The cache is hidden west of the hiking trail. Due to the perhaps difficult signal, we would recommend to approach the stash from the nearby clearing. Auf Sonntagradltour gesucht und geloggt. Kleiner Abstecher von der W+WM Tour ins Gleissental um die schön versteckte Dose aufzuspüren und sich ins Logbuch einzutragen. DFDD

21. agosto 2012 Dauti ha encontrado el geocache

Unser 2. Cache überhaupt. Tolle Tour, ins Abendgassi eingebaut. Cache nach ca. 15 Minuten Suchen gefunden Tolles Versteck. Ein Dank an den Owner!

Au weia, das war wohl nix. Nur Regen, noch mehr Regen, alles nass und kein Cache. Aber wir kommen wieder. Irgendwo muss der Hut doch sein. Und das GPS geht nächstes Mal hoffentlich besser...

Im Anschluß an einen nahegelegenen Multi habe ich auch noch meine Wandersachen gepackt und bin durch das Gleissental gegangen.
Es war wie in den Bergen: Im Tal zapfig und kalt und oben so einige Grade wärmer ;-)
Dank exakter Koordinaten konnte ich die Dose dann relativ schnell aus dem wirklich schönen Versteck befreien :-)
