A picture from Bettmeralp

The location

Next to the chapel "Maria zum Schnee" (Maria to the snow) is a famous viewpoint on the Bettmeralp. With a good weather you have a great view of the surrounding mountains and the village. Located in the middle of the village, it is only a short detour from the main road.

The task

The chapel is photographed by two webcams every 10 minutes from two different directions. Your task is to have one of the two cameras photograph you in a way that you can be recognized on the picture. You will be very small on the fotos. Therefore you have to hold up something big so that you are clearly visible and the photo can be considered taken for this cache. Holding up a towel or a bigger backpack like in the examples is one way to do this.

You have to save the photo you have taken and attach it to your log. Only photos taken with one of the webcams are valid.

Take a look at the two sample photos with the corresponding enlarged section. You should do something similar, but feel free to be creative. Further additional photos from on site are welcome and prove your stay there, but are not absolutely necessary.

Both webcams, and a few more, are listed on the Aletsch Arena Webseite. The images update approximately every full 10 minutes.
