Una cache commemorativa dedicata alla data del 22/02/2022 composta praticamente di soli 2 e per di piu' pure palindroma !
Di fronte ad essa c'e un vecchio edificio, e' "il filatoio", antica fabbrica che da' il nome al quartiere, ora di proprieta' di un grande mobilificio e per la verita' piuttosto malandato. Nel 1878 i filatoi a Druento erano in realta' due, forse tre e davano lavoro a circa 300 operaie.
La sericoltura era praticata a livello famigliare, con essa comparvero nelle campagne i gelsi le cui foglie servivano da nutrimento ai bachi, piantati a segnare i confini tra i terreni, vennero poi via via quasi tutti abbattuti perche' di ostacolo ai moderni mezzi meccanizzati.
Affiancata alla produzione agricola, la sericoltura e' vero che migliorava i magri bilanci famigliari, ma di certo non giovava alle gia' precarie condizioni igieniche delle case, poiche' per massimizzare i guadagni, si occupavano con i "bigat" tutti gli spazi e gli ambienti abitati, cucina compresa.

ha encontrado el geocache
While planing my vacation in Italy, I spotted this four OpenCaches on the map near Torino. As Torino was one of the cities we might pass one way or the other, I had hope to find the time to do a caching run out here. Plans changed several times — as they always do – but lat in the last full vacation day I managed to take a bus out here to Druenta.
This was the first cache and I found it quickly with the help of the hint. Nice construction for this cache and interesting history to read. Thank you Br1ma!
I assume this cache is also listed as GC9NN2X and just the link and the not significant update to the coordinates got forgotten. Would be nice if this can be updated. Then it would be a perfect OpenCache 😉. In any case, thank you for listening this cache also on OC. This way I knew which caches to try.
