Beschrijving
[ITA] La storia del Duomo di San Donà di Piave, dedicato a Santa Maria delle Grazie, è un'affascinante scoperta. Costruito nel 1476 per volere di Francesco Marcello e Angelo Trevisan, ha subito numerosi eventi storici e cambiamenti. Distrutto quasi completamente nella Prima Guerra Mondiale, fu poi ricostruito. L'interno del Duomo è ampio e luminoso, con un'impressionante architettura. Il presbiterio è decorato e circondato da colonne e banchi. Le navate sono sormontate da archi che portano a una volta a botte. L'illuminazione e i colori caldi delle pareti creano un'atmosfera accogliente e spirituale. L'interno, armonioso, trasmette serenità e maestosità. Oggi ospita opere d'arte, tra cui i mosaici di Marko Ivan Rupnik e un grande croce in bronzo, rendendolo un luogo storico e di scoperta.
