Linienkapelle

Note: You have to climb up steps. Not recommended when area is snow covered. Without GPS-receiver possible too. Please bring your pen! Please note that the frontier chapel is a religious building, therefore behave with respect. Chapel services every first Saturday at 8 a.m. between May and October (it is not recommended to visit the chapel on day before).

Accessibility: • Walking/biking: Start at terminal stop of tram No 49 in Hütteldorf. Walk along brook Halterbach on Ignaz-Prilisauer-Weg, turn right at children's playground, walk across Ferdinand-Wolf-Park, turn right into Lindheimgasse and then left into Utendorfgasse. At last follow Linzer Straße westward. Total length approximately 1 kilometre. • By bus: At Hütteldorf station take bus 150/151 to Weidlingau/Auhof (timetable) and step off at "Samptwandnergasse". To avoid missing this bus stop, don't hestitate to ask the driver. Returning to town you can use bus 149/249 too. • By train: Take the suburban metro railway (S15, S50) and step off at "Wolf in der Au" (timetable). • By car: Drive Linzer Straße westward. Before the name of the road changes to Hauptstraße, park vis-à-vis of Hofer supermarket.
