Description Ελληνικά · English
The cache is a small plastic container, hidden in the roof tiles of the church patio. It contains a declaration about geocaching and a logbook. There is no pen on the cache.
This is a beautiful location we discovered randomly when we passed by the nearby area a few months ago.
We decided to check it out and we ended up on a small elevated area with beautiful view over the sea and the nearby plains.
Next to the church which is also the hide location, there is an abandoned military structure, probably something related to communications. It's not enclosed and people visit it all the time, but explore at your own risk, since there is an active military base very close, and I don't know if they still consider it a part of the base although it's abandoned.
Please park on the suggested location and don't go further down the road. There are two houses there, and there's no reason to go there since you will definitely get suspicious looks, and there's no view further down the road.
If someone is on the church visit another time, this one requires extreme stealthiness that can not be achieved due to the hiding location, which requires you to step up on a bench in order to reach it.
Don't ever ring the bell!
Also, check if the people from the nearby house are observing you, they don't normally see many visitors so they probably are very suspicious.
