About the location
At the foot of St. George's Hill, an extinct volcano, is the Emmaus House, a kind of chapel decorated with various sculptures, including Jesus Christ, Mary, Mary Magdalene and Saint Anne. It was built by a priest from Keszthely named Ify, who had worked in Fonyód for many years and retired here, and named after the place where Jesus first appeared after his resurrection. It is now falling into disrepair. Be careful when visiting.
Hiking tip: If you continue past this lost place, you can take a really beautiful, approx. 5 km long circular hike up St. George's Hill. The path is varied and you pass the basalt organs of the former volcano. From the top you have a fantastic view of Lake Balaton.
About the cache
In front of the entrance there is a monument dedicated to a Ludovice. There is a small metal plate on the back with two small, vertically written years at the bottom. The bottom one is the log password.
Have fun! :)
