Planetenaddition

Auf Dauer habe ich es nicht wirklich geschafft meine Caches sowohl auf opencaching.de als auch auf geocaching.com zu pflegen.

Da es auch nur sehr wenige Logs auf opencaching gab habe ich mich entschieden, die Caches auf dieser Plattform zu archivieren.

Habe mich zusammen mit der Wanderelbe in den Orbit geschossen, das Rätsel gelöst und flott die Dose mit dem Lunar Lander geborgen.

Dieser Mystery war Nummer 1 der heutigen Radtour. Das zugehörige Rätsel war schon so lange gelöst, das die Erinnerung an den Lösungsweg bereits verblasst ist. Heute vor Ort gab es keinerlei Probleme, die Dose konnte an malerischer Stelle gut gefunden werden.

Mellizard and I had a day out in ME today so the night before I decided to have a second look at this puzzle. Having identified the planets I now decoded the hint and got to work. I'd done a similar cache before so I knew what I was in for but not being very bright at these kinds of puzzles it took me quite a while, I guess 1h 30mins until all the numbers finally added up. I quickly fed the Geochecker and ... got a red light. 'Wot??' I thought. I checked and rechecked but the 'checker kept its opinion. I then read the logs and found Cachy's. 'A second solution'?? I was beginning to think this a stupid puzzle, got back to work but the will soon left me. I then had a last look at the listing and found that, like Cachy, I too had been on the garden path into the galaxy. 'Oh no!' I thought, got a new equation and back to work. I think this time it took me 45mins until I chanced on the right combination, and THIS time the Geochecker too nodded. Thankfully.
The outdoor details went flawlessly, apart from the fact that a minor slip had me picking thorns out of my hand afterwards. Ah, the joy of brambles...

Cache #2104

Auf diesen Mystery bin ich eher zufällig gestossen, und dachte mir: die Art Rätsel kennst Du, das schaffst Du leicht ... naja, nicht ganz ... aber viele Stunden später, und nachdem ich die drei Planeten im zweiten Anlauf richtig zugeordnet hatte , standen tatsächlich brauchbare Koordinaten auf dem Papier und der Geochecker zeigte grün Auf einem Ausflug nach Mettmann konnte ich die Dose heute problemlos einsammeln.
