This Cache is dedicated to Heinrich Toppler, the famous then-mayor, who lead Rothenburg ob der Tauber from the insignificance to better times. Here you may want to find 5 Stations. Allmost all of them are concerned with the life of Heinrich Toppler. Some of the data are to be gathered locally, some over the Internet or simply by asking people. Station 1 – Mansion

Station 2 – History-vaults
The museum of the Historical Festival play “The Master Draught” is always worth a visit, especially, because it shows in it´s exhibition a summary of history of the Thirty Year´s War. Here are the 8 vaults and the dungeons of the town placed. Inside of one of these vaults died Heinrich Toppler anno 1408 under unexplained circumstances.
Relevant for you is one of the infos, which you can find at the board next to the entrance of the museum. If the wide door is closed, try the other one at the rear-side of the building.

Station 3 – Memorial
The Heinrich Toppler´s memorial in the Castle´s garden ist our third destination. Note the two dates carved in the stone. The smaller date is C the larger one is D. The score of the dice is the value of E. From the memorial you will find Station 4 in 210 m, direction to 325°.

Station 5 – Toppler´s Castle
This quite small castle was for Heinrich Toppler a place to rest from governance. You will find a number at the garden gate on the upper left side, possibly the street number. Anyway, this is your number F.
