Weissenbachl I

This was the last cache Alice and myself visited on the occasion of our small camping trip. After a few days of hiking, I collected up all my courage to dare to go for this cache. Although the cache has the same terrain rating as its companion, I expected it to be much more difficult for me and so it was.

Twice I was very close to giving up. I needed a lot of time and effort and both mental and physical strength to get myself up to the next level by some sort of very inelegant "climbing" by using all parts of my body. Twice I needed to take off my shoes and continue a short part without shoes before putting them on again. Fortunately the water was refreshing today as it was so hot. Both tricky parts were easier to manage in the descent, but other parts were more diffult in going down than in going up. The gorge and the creek are very nice. It was nice to see the area we already knew from above also from the "ground level". The area might have looked much more beautiful three years ago before the nature catastrophe, but in any case the area looks already very nice again.

I was very, very happy when I reached the cache. I believe that this was the most difficult cache for me I even did. While I had to go to my limits and even beyond, it was just a nice relaxing walk for Alice. In any case, we both enjoyed this cache very much. Due to Alice's expert knowledge of trees, the search could be restricted to the right candidates, so the cache could be found after a short time despite the fact that we again had no receptiopn at all and had switched off the GPS long before having reached the cache area. The cache box and its contents are in good condition. The hideout is well-chosen.

Having arrived back at the car, I was very happy and very tired and thursty.

No trade

War mir zuerst nicht sicher, ob wir vom WB II ganz hinunter und den Bach hochwandern sollen, aber wir haben eine ideale Stelle zum direkt hinunter gehen gefunden, die Lukas ohne Probleme gemeistert hat. Erst hier hat dann Lukas verstanden, warum ich ihn ganz oben vom Im-Bach-Hinuntergehen abgehalten habe...;-)

Beim Hinuntergehen ist diesmal mich der Cache direkt angesprungen, hab gar nicht danach gesucht und ihn doch gefunden! :)

Von hier an sind wir dann immer im Bachbett hinuntergewandert und ganz unten dann nochmal zur Erfrischung in den Radmer Bach hineingegangen, war eine sehr feine Weißenbachl-Wanderung, thx nochmals an gebu!

Weissenbachl I - kleiner Wasserfall

Nach einem ausgiebigen Besuch der Frauenmauer endlich die schon lange auf der ToDo Liste verweilenden Weissenbachls im Visier.
Ein feines Erlebnis das stark an "Weg der großen Kiesel" erinnert, also grandios!
