Piazza XII Martiri

[PND] The Town Hall and XII Martiri Square
A cache of the PND series [To not forget] in memory of the 12 partisans who on January 23, 1945 in this square, were shot in retaliation.
12 young men were taken from the Turin prisons and transported by truck to the town hall square, none of them was Druentino, the choice was probably by drawing lots.
They had their hands tied with wire, they limped and bore the signs of the violence they suffered, they were lined up in front of the town hall, and executed forcing the population to attend.
Already in May 1945 the square was given to the XII Martyrs at the request of the population.
 
In the square there is also a plaque dedicated to the fallen of the Second World War, to log the cache 'find the following information that you will need to find out the password:

PW = A + W + B + C + D + E

A = Name of Soldier Genero (ultimate two letters)
B = Surname of Romildo, letters 5a and 6a
C = Last letter of the name of the Remondino soldier
D = Initial of name + last letter surname of soldier Rolle
E = Initial of the surname of the soldier Sante
