Drehwurm

Heute haben mein Agent und ich einen auf Sightseeing und Tourismus gemacht.
Deshalb ging es vom Megaphonegelände aus nach Magdeburg.
Hier ließen wir uns von dem einen oder anderen Cache treiben und konnten viele schöne Ecken entdecken und bestaunen.
Es zeigt mal wieder, dass Geocaching der bessere Reiseführer ist und man viel mehr über eine Stadt erfährt, als wenn man seine Nase in ein Buch steckt.

auch der wandert in die Tonne

1 Woche schlaflose Nächte,weil der Drehwurm ständig im Kopf kreiste, doch dann die Lösung ! Am Samstag dann auf zu den Koordinaten, leider alles vermuggelt und Spiralen vor den Augen. Es folgte eine weitere schlaflose Nacht. Also heute nochmals los und eins zwei... ein Hoch auf uns !!!

Als ich dieses Rätsel das erste Mal sah, hatte ich keine Idee und dachte das werde ich wohl nie lösen können. Dann viel später druckte ich es schon mal aus; ich könnte ja doch noch eine Idee bekommen!? Flugs wurde daraus ein faszinierender Rätselspaß, jeder Geistesfunke wurde geprüft. Sogar eine neue Farbpatrone musste her. Aber wie ich den Wurm auch drehte oder der Dreh mich wurmte, kein Erfolg. Nochmal die Logs gelesen – und plötzlich der Hauch einer Spur. Ich hab`s – jubelte ich und verfolgte dann frohgemut fleißig den Weg zum erfolgreichen Ziel.
Heute wollte ich nur schon mal das Terrain in Augenschein nehmen – uns siehe da wider Erwarten keine Muggel in Sicht. Finden, loggen und wieder ablegen verliefen wie im Drall.

Having forgot my mobile and thus - quite literally - the time, it was 1am when I returned home from a rather elongated post-work caching trip. I then, having brought Mellizard and Jr. to bed, took my time logging as well as doing some stuff for work so by the time I was ready to shut down and go to bed it was past 3. Cursed be the sprite that then whispered into my ear I should have a look at the medal table (BahnCard Gold), which I thought I had anyways done late enough to make sure there had been no gold today. But, alas, I was wrong: the German ski jump team had done it again. Ishould've just gone to bed, slept in and gone to work as usual anyways. Instead I looked up the earliest train to MD. An hour later the alarm clock woke me, and sent me into the shower and then out into the cold. Of course I dozed off on the train and almost missed my stop but luckily I heard the alarm ring in time. And so I got to spend 8hrs of walking about MD, collecting cachess and doing some sightseeing on the sight, er, side.

Oddly enough the first idea I had with this mystery was also the right one. Outdoors, however, it took me a good 15 mins. to locate the object and then to finally touch - not see - the cache. And that even though the hint said it all. Nice location!
