Here in the northeasternmost part of the Gjirokastra castle you can enjoy the view over the green plain. You can imagine that this is a defensive position. It would be very difficult for the enemy to creep along the valley floor to attack you without giving you fair warning.

Your task to log is to take a selfie with the clock tower from the GZ.

there is a small fee to enter the castle (200 lek at time of publication). It is worth it. You came all the way here, I don't imagine you would want to visit the city without visiting the castle.

Bei unserer Rundreise in Albanien auch in diesem Dorf Halt gemacht und wenn man schon einmal da ist, muss Mann natürlich auch die Burg besuchen
