Quiero enseñarte un lugar recóndito y especial en la isla de Ibiza qué cayó cercanamente en el olvido.
En el Nor-Este de la isla, cerca de Sant Carles, existió hace cientos de años una importante mina de plomo y plata.
La primera evidencia de esta mina de plomo data del 1343. Durante el período morisco se explotó principalmente la plata. La extracción del plomo acabó finalmente en el 1912.
El área minera está situada en la parte derecha del camino que va de Santa Eularia a Sant Carles, justo un poco antes de la rotonda. Por favor, aparca e coche en las coordenadas  N 39°01.276 E 001°33.240. La vieja zona minera está al otro lado de la carretera. Hay un sendero que conduce directamente a los restos de la mina
Pasarás algunos pozos colapsados fruto de el derrumbamiento de las cavidades subterráneas de la mina y también de algunos pozos desde los que se sacaba el plomo al exterior. Atención, algunos de estos pozos todavía permanecen abiertos. La mayoría de ellos están rodeados por un muro circular de ladrillo y asegurado spor una valla. Pero nunca te descuides al acercarse a un pozo abierto. Además de los pozos se pueden ver dos chimeneas en buen estado, una construccion para la maquinaria, algunas pilas que se usaban para lavar el mineral y una casa para los trabajadores. Un apunte sobre la casa de los trabajadores: esta es la casa más alejada de la calle y está ocupada por gente. Por favor, ¡respete su privacidad!
Las coordenadas apuntan a uno de los pozos. Esta es tu tarea para poder registrar el caché:

• Toma una foto del pozo con un objeto personal para demostrar que estiviste allí y cuélgala en el registro.
• Responde a esta pregunta para la contraseña de registro: ¿qué palabra está en la cerradura? Encontrarás la respuesta cerca de las coordenadas.

Ich möchte euch auf Ibiza einen besonderen Lost place zeigen, der fast schon in Vergessenheit geraten ist.

Im Nordosten der Insel nahe Sant Carles bestand über Jahrhunderte hinweg ein bedeutendes Blei- und Silberbergwerk.

Der erste Nachweis der Bleimine liegt aus dem Jahr 1343 vor. Auch in der maurischen Zeit wurde hier vor allem das Silber ausgebeutet. Der Abbau von Blei fand schliesslich im Jahr 1912 sein endgültiges Ende.

Das Gelände befindet sich rechts der Landstraße von Santa Eularia nach Sant Carles kurz vor dem Kreisel. Bitte parkt bei den Koordinaten N 39° 01.276 E 001° 33.240. Das ehemalige Grubengelände befindet sich auf der anderen Straßenseite. Hier gibt es einen Waldweg, der direkt zu den noch verbliebenen Resten des Bergwerks führt. Ihr kommt an Pingen vorbei, die durch Einsturz unterirdischer Abbauhohlräume entstanden sind und auch an Schächten, aus denen vor allem das Bleierz gefördert wurde. Achtung! Einige dieser Schächte sind noch offen. Diese sind meist mit einer brunnenartigen Mauer umgeben, und teilweise noch mit einem Maschendrahtzaun gesichert. Es ist aber trotzdem höchste Vorsicht geboten. Ausser den Schächten gibt es noch zwei gut erhaltene Schornsteine, ein Maschinenhaus, mehrere Wasserbecken, die für die Erzwäsche verwendet wurden und ein Arbeiterhaus. Noch ein Hinweis: das ehemalige Arbeiterhaus, das von der Strasse aus am entferntesten ist, ist noch bewohnt. Bitte respektiert dies und verhaltet euch entsprechend!

Die Koordinaten zeigen auf einen der Schächte. Hier eure Aufgabe zum Loggen des virtuellen Lost Place Cache:

• Macht ein Foto von dem Schacht von aussen, auf dem deutlich die Ummauerung mit der Öffnung und ihr oder ein persönlicher Gegenstand von euch zu sehen ist.
• Beantwortet folgende Frage als Passwort zum loggen: was steht auf dem Schloss? Die Antwort findet ihr in der unmittelbaren Umgebung der Koordinaten.

I want to show you a special lost place on the island of Ibiza which has nearly fall into oblivion.
In the north-east of the island near the village of Sant Carles existed over hundrets of years an important lead and silver mine.
The first evidence of this lead mine dates from the year 1343. During the moorish period especially the silver was digged. The mining of lead got to the final end in the year 1912.
The mining area is situated on the right side of the country road from Santa Eularia to Sant Carles just short way before the roundabout traffic. Please park your car at the coordinates N 39°01.276 E 001°33.240. The former mining area is situated on the other side of the road. There is a path which leads directly to the remains of the mine. You will pass some collapsed shafts which were originated from collapsed underground mining cavities and also some shafts from which the lead ore was transported up to daylight. Attention, some of these shafts are still open. Most of them are sourrounded by a round brick wall and secured by a fence. But nevertheless be careful when you are approaching an open shaft. Besides the shafts you can see two smokestacks in good condition, a machinery house, some water basins which were used to wash the ore and a workers house. One note to the former worker house: this is the house which is farest away from the street and it is occupied by people. Please respect their privacy!
The coordinates point to one of the shafts. This is your task to log the cache:

• Take a picture of the shaft with a personal item or yourself to show you was there and upload it to your log. 
• Answer this question for the log-password: which word is on the lock? You will find the answer close to the coordinates.
