Silk Weaving

Lately, as in the past Silk Weaving has become one of the most important incomes of some villages in Datça. The balls of silk resulting from the boiling process are unwound and turned into skeins. A cocoon can yield approximately one continuous kilometer of thread. These threads are woven on looms to be turned into various items of clothing.
