Description    Deutsch  ·  English  ·  Italiano

Of the Castle of Druento, only the walls remain, and it is inside them that the cache is hidden.Although the castle practically no longer exists, the place still has its own particular charm, the mighty walls overlook you and the garden inside them can only be guessed, the road has remained as it was originally, a gravel dirt road.

Today the area is used for walking dogs, watch where you put your feet!

Found Recommended 04 December 2022, 17:44 Tungmar found the geocache

That was a hard and adventitious (urban stile) cache for me. First I had to learn how to use the bus in Torino (get the schedule, how are the signs on the bus and station, where to buy the damn ticket and how to use it (I was not sure if I did every thing right with the ticket, the machine made wired tones and messages, but the drivers told me there is all OK – and then, short before my last stop, I got controlled and all was good.)). So I made it to Druento way later in the day than planned. It also just started to rain a little bit.

First I did (I think at least I made it) the three other caches here. Then I went for this very tricky one. From one of the pictures I guessed the level where I need to search and started carefully. I found several hides which were similar to the spoiler and easy to look behind – empty. Then I remembered that the picture is a fairly recent one and that I also could consider the flora. With that, I compared all the spots again and found it. It was not easy to open and if I didn't have the matching spoiler picture, I would never ever have considered it to be there.

But so I found it and pulled the whole thing out. The log breaks apart, and I just scribbled my name on a small piece. Then I put every thing back as nice as it was possible and hurried to the next bus back to the centre of Torino.

Gracias Br1ma for this great OpenCache. I sadly had a bit of a rush to go back, so I did not see much other than the leftover of the Castello di Druento.

Seconda cache OC. Su OC è davvero facile fare {FTF}. Il mattone giusto viene trovato dopo un po di ricerche grazie al generoso spoiler, però purtroppo non sono riuscito a loggare in quanto il logbook ha dimensioni nano ed è troppo umido. Allego foto. Grazie br1ma.
