Descrizione
This is a surreal attraction: a series of carved, grotesque heads that face out towards the sea.They were crafted by Father AdolpheFouré, who was struck deaf and mute after a stroke, and retired to Rotheneuf. For some inexplicable reason (perhaps he was inspired by the legends of the pirates along this coast), he took chisel to stone here. For thirteen years between 1984-1907, he worked on transforming this 500 metre square of coast in to a strange outdoor fresco.

Since the entrance is not free, you can also go to the following coordinates:

There, on the cross, you will find a reclining sculpture. Photograph them with a view over the sea with the actual sculpture park in sight. (see example image below)

ha trovato la geocache
Bevor wir die Heimreise antreten, wollten wir noch die Granitskulpturen des Abbé Fouré anschauen. Daher ging es von Carnac nochmal zurück in Richtung St. Malo. Da der Skulpturengarten noch geschlossen war, haben wir uns nach La Pointe du Christ begeben und uns dort umgeschaut. Das gewünschte Foto der liegenden Skulptur ist angefügt.
Im Skulpturengarten fand ich beigefûgtes Foto am interessantesten. Das Werk wirkte auf mich wie das Bildnis eines Außerirdischen.
