Brackel - Die alte Bahnstrecke

The legend:
Not long ago there was a railway running in the small 2000 people village Brackel situated near the A7-motorwayexit Thieshope. There also exists a railway station managed by a hard working stationguard. He loved his pretty small railway station but more he loved money and wealth. He was a stingy and suspicious man so he kept his property safe in a hiding place which only could be opened by using a special golden key. This key he seperated into two parts each also kept safe in a hiding place so nobody could ever reach this key and his property. But when the news of closure of the railway and his station arrived him, he sorrowed so much until he died. A long time it was believed that he took the legacy of his wealth down in his grave. But one day the notes of the hiding place was found in an old chest. Now the treasure is hand over to the public because no heir was found.

Car park:
There is a good car park at N 53° 18.311 / E 10° 03.820.

First station:
The startcoordinates dont belong to the cache itself but to the first station. There you will find a memorial with a year z. Now calculate the numbers A and B as follows:

A = z / 5 - 102
B = z / 2 - 330

First part of the golden key:
If you place yourself exact in front of the memorials writing, the first part of the golden key is situated exact behind you in a distance of 12m. If you have found it, take it with you. But remember the place!

Second station:
Now go to the second station at N 53° 18.A / E 10° 03.B. There you will find a year and one word. Change the first three letters of the word into the number y by useing an international dialing keyboard. Afterwards calculate the numbers C and D as follows:

C = y - 201
D = y - 88

Second part of the golden key:
The second part of the golden key is situated in a distance of 32m at an angle of 260° from your actual position. Also take this part of the key and assemble it to the complete one.

Final:
Now you are well prepared to raise the treasure. It is situated at N 53° 18.C / E 10° 03.D. Be careful not to injure yourself at thorny undergrowth. Unfortunately many muggel will be seen here, so perhaps you have to wait for a better opportunity. Now use the golden key to open the cache. Dont stay too long at the cache location and log it at an other place (i.e. the busstation nearby). Because the cache is very large, a bag may be useful.

After logging the cache bring it back to the hiding place. Be care of closing the cache quite good. Don´t use the key for closing! The cache will not be closed correct before hearing a "Click"!

It is a matter of course to reassemble the golden key and bring back the parts to their hiding places. The complete distance (forward and back) is about 1km and will be carried out in less than one hour. Happy hunting!
