Or is it a Midsummer Nightmare?

Important hint: Part 2 of stage I seems to be cut down. Assume that maybe Mary and Steve love(d) each other but neither Amy and Ralph nor Britney and Frank.

Another important hint: From now on there are red cat eyes. They tell you: YOU ARE ON THE WRONG WAY! Look for white cat eyes nearby.

A loop trip through the Werther Egge on the occasion of the 30th birthday of Frau Sommer.

You have to cover a distance of about 6.5 kilometers on partial heavy terrain. You should bargain for a duration of about 4 hours, the beta test took nearly 5 hours. Log your empirical value.
Watch your step, there are acclivities, mud, thorns and other surprises. If you do not have the heart to go on abort. Don't walk alone. Take a mobile phone with you. The flying ambulance can easily land at N 52° 04.992, E 008° 22.846.

Tracks are marked by white cat eyes, the stages with blue ones.

At some stages you have to unravel mysteries, at others you are directly told where to go.

Stage A has a security twin, don't be surprised.

Behind Station E you should not cross the "area", bear left.

Decrypt the hints on the backs of the mysteries at stage G and J only if you cannot unravel the mysteries.

Bear a bit right behind stage K.

X meters in direction Y doesn't lead to exact positions but give a hint for an approximated bearing.

There are no cat eyes leading to the final, the coordinates are nearly exact. This is for avoiding shortcuts. You can calculate the final coordinates only if you found all hints.

Additional to the common night caching equipment (GPS, torch, mobile, cache description, ...) you should take following things with you:

• sturdy shoes with good pattern.
• (work) gloves for climbing on hands and feet.
• without tweezers you can't pick the hints out of the tubes.
• a calculator is helpfull for calculating the final coordinates.
• a mirror is not necessary but could help at one stage.

• Hide every hint and the cache exactly where and as you found it.
• Treat the hint chits carefully
• "Hiding better" is unwanted. Contact me if you have suggestions.
• The bag with the stuff belongs in the container - not the container in the bag.

Start at N 52° 04.982, E 008° 22.548. You can park your car at the wayside. Follow the way in direction east-south-east and watch out for the first cat eyes.

The trip isn't as dangerous as this text indicates. ;-)
