Am Cache angekommen schaut Ihr auf den Stausee bei Niederhausen an der Nahe. Die Wehranlage wurde 1928 erbaut und dient der Energiegewinnung. Dieser Cache läßt sich bequem als Drive Inn machen. Er ist der erste Cache einer Reihe von Caches die euch von Niederhausen zum Besucherbergwerk Schmittenstollen geleiten. Vom angegebenen Parklatz bis zum Schmittenstollen lauft Ihr auf einen wunderschönen Wanderweg, Länge ca. 3,5 km (ohne Rückweg). Besonders für Mountainbikes ist der Weg von Niederhausen aus zu empfehlen.

Tolles Versteck! Wir haben den Cache schnell gefunden, hatten aber auch Hilfe unserer Geburtstagsgäste.

Den Cache haben wir schnell gefunden, nur leider hatten wir nicht den blassesten Schimer wie wir ihn heben sollten ohne irgendwelche Kletterkünste unter Beweis zu stellen.

Interessante Sache bei dem hohen Wasserstand. Die Dose hab ich schnell entdeckt.
