Beschrijving
GPS will lead you to the Marshal Edwars Rydz-Smigly Park, which was previously called the Central Park of Culture and Leisure. The Park was formed in 1940s and 1950s at the ruins of Powisle District (eastern part of park), and remains of Frascati Gardens (western part, near the Vistula river slope). There were plans to change all Powisle District into big park, but in the 1960s plans have changed.
There's central axis in the park, it starts with the terrace at the top
of the slope, with beatiful view down to the rest of axis, then it goes
down with monumental staircase, and with long alley it reaches the
monuments Glory to Sappers, and Landing Operation Plate by the Vistula river.
Staircase at the slope is modeled on the Potemkin Stairs
in Odessa. Altough they are much smaller than stairs in Odessa, they
are still quite impressive, and it's very popular place of photo
sessions.
Geocache is hidden near the bottom of the stairs (it's also registered at opencaching.pl and geocaching.com)

german (long): Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und die Logs auf geocaching.com (GC23JND) lassen darauf schließen, das der Cache nicht mehr geborgen werden kann (da festgewachsen). Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben, so kann dieses Listing durch den Owner selbständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.

FTF na OC DE i jeden z 35 obecnie "niemieckich" skeszy w Polsce ;). Zakręciłem się tutaj jak.. słoik. Kesz łatwy, w intuicyjnym miejscu, a jednak nie szło. Cygan ciągnął w różne przypadkowe miejsca, w których nie spodziewałem się skrzynki, właściwy obiekt tez obejrzałem ale z innej strony. Nie wiem, co się stało, może poszło o to, że dzisiejszą trasę układałem tak, żeby przyjść właśnie tutaj, a to dlatego, że skrzynka jest zarejestrowana jako jedna z nielicznych w Polsce również na OC DE, gdzie od niedawna mam konto ;). W końcu odwołałem się do siły wyższej i w tej właśnie chwili podszedłem do obiektu z drugiej strony. Wszystko stało się jasne ale już było za późno, bo zacząłem już mówić o co chodzi... TFTC!
