This cache leads you on a walk straight through the Old Town to some places from which there are still photos from longest past times.

Some views have changed only a little. However, many are to be recognised hardly or no more at all.

The walk begins at "Prinzregentenplatz" and ends after about 2.6 km not far outside the former city walls in front of the "Jakobertor".

Unfortunately, it is not a round tour! However, start and end point are near to stops of public means of transportation. With the bus route 23 you come back again comfortably (from the stop "Jakobertor") to the starting point (bus stop "Prinzregentenstraße").
It is advisable to make the cache on foot. Starting point and final are not far from stops of tramways.

Task

At each stage of this cache you must find out which of the following historical photos has been taken from this place.
Assign the figure of the photo to the letter (A . . . K) of the respective station.

In order to make it not too easy, there are a few photos more, than stages!

At some stages you must answer an additional question and find additional solution figures (X, Y, Z) which are necessary to calculate der co-ordinates of the subsequent stages and  the final.

That the page representation is optimum, you should print the listing via [print... > without logs].
Page adjustment: "reduce to page size" or "adapt to size". Page margins: top, left, right = 5 mm, bottom = 13 mm.

Additional question: Which of the monarches perpetuated at the fountain looks to the north?
Ludwig I.: X=1, Ludwig II.: X=2, Maximilian II.: X=3, Max Joseph I.: X=4, Luitpold: X=5
       X =

Stage 02:  N48°22.(25*(A+X))' E10°53.(49*(A+X))'     B =
The photo shows two candlesticks or lanterns at gateposts. How many of it are absent nowadays?

From stage 08 go eastward and look for the bay which is to be seen on photo 5 in the foreground. Although the belonging house was totally destroyed during the war, this nice bay wondrously survived unscathed. It was dismounted there and rebuilt at an other place.

Stage 09:
Above the gate, about 10 m to the east of this bay there is a stone plaque.
How often the letter D is written in the lowest line?
                         Z =

On the way to the final you will pass a nice villa, the "Villa Haag".
It was built about 1876 for the owner "Johannes Haag machines and tubes factory AG" which counted to the pioneers in heating construction in Europe. This villa has outlasted the times till this day almost consistently.

Final:       N48°22.(H+Z*I)K'   E10°54.CKI'
Note: Easily accessible from the sidewalk. You schall not climb the railing or the ladder! BYOP!
