Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Trzykroć Przedziwnej

Sanktuarium jest położone na terenie Góry Chełmskiej. Najwyższy szczyt tego masywu wznosi się na wysokość 136,6 m n.p.m.  W 1829 r. ustawiono na nim krzyż i od tego czasu nosi nazwę Krzyżanka.
 W XII w.  zbudowana została kaplica, do której pielgrzymowały rzesze pątników. Około roku 1431 zaczęto wznosić nowy kościół, aby móc pomieścić wszystkich przybywających. Zarówno kaplica jak i kościół uległy zniszczeniu w II połowie XVI w.
Obecna kaplica Sanktuarium, zwanego również Sanktuarium Przymierza, zbudowana została w 1991 r. i poświęcona przez papieża Jana Pawła II. Powstała według wzoru z niemieckiego  Schönstatt i jest jednym ze 170 rozsianych po świecie podobnych obiektów. W kaplicy znajduje się neobarokowy ołtarz z obrazem Matki Bożej oraz figurami apostołów Piotra i Pawła. Nad obrazem widnieje symbol ruchu szenstackiego – Oko Opatrzności Bożej, po lewej stronie zobaczyć można figurę Michała Archanioła.
Góra Chełmska stanowi niezwykle ważny element kultury religijnej całego Pomorza. Figuruje na najstarszej mapie dróg pielgrzymkowych średniowiecznej Europy, pochodzącej z 1500 r. tzw. Mapie drogi do Rzymu.

The Sanctuary of the Mother of God Thrice Admirable

The Sanctuary is located in the area of Góra Chełmska. The highest peak of this massif is 136,6 m a.s.l. Since in 1829 a cross was placed there it has been called Krzyżanka. A chapel was built in the 12^th Century, attracting hosts of pilgrims. About 1431 the construction of the new church to accommodate all visitors began. Both the chapel and the church were destroyed in the second half of the 16^th Century.
The current chapel of the Sanctuary, also known as the Sanctuary of the Covenant, was built in 1991 and consecrated by Pope John Paul II. The chapel has a form inspired by the German Schönstatt and is one of 170 similar structures scattered all around the world. The chapel  features a Baroque Revival altar with a painting of Mary with Apostles Peter and Paul. Above the painting there is the Eye of Providence, the symbol of the Schönstatt Movement, and a statue of St Michael the Archangel stands on the left.
Góra Chełmska plays an extremely important part in the religious culture of all Pomerania. It is marked on the oldest map of pilgrimage routes of mediaeval  Europe – the so-called “Way to Rome”.
