Der Strand Playa de Vallehermoso liegt etwa drei Kilometer vom hübschen Ort entfernt an dem hier oft bewegten Atlantik.

Hinter dem steinigen Strand von Vallehermoso wurde eine Badelandschaft mit Schwimmbecken, Umkleidekabinen, Duschen und Snackbar angelegt. Der Strand von Vallehermoso wird von einer schönen Felskulisse gerahmt. Häufig zeigt sich der Atlantik vor der Küste Gomeras hier von seiner raueren Seite, so dass das Baden auch an freundlichen Tagen oft nur versierten Schwimmern vorbehalten bleibt.

Strand & Parque Maritimo

Doch hinter der zerklüfteten Küstenlinie hat man eine Badelandschaft angelegt, den "Parque Maritimo" von Vallehermoso. Schön ist die Aussicht vom Schwimmbecken über das weite Meer. Umkleidekabinen, Duschen und Snackbar bieten Komfort. Die Badelandschaft samt ihrer Installationen war in den letzten Jahren meist nur in den Sommermonaten geöffnet.

Wenige Meter weiter steht das Castillo del Mar, die alte Verladestation des Ortes, früher mit attraktivem Cafe, Restaurant und Kulturzentrum, am Rande vom Strand in Vallehermoso. Das Castillo del Mar ist zurzeit geschlossen!

Den Cache findet ihr hinter der kleinen Kirche, direkt beim beginnenden Aufstieg, bringt bitte einen Stift mit!

La Playa de Vallehermoso se encuentra a unos tres kilómetros del bonito pueblo, en el a menudo turbulento Océano Atlántico.

Detrás de la playa rocosa de Vallehermoso se ha creado una zona de baño con piscina, vestuarios, duchas y bar de aperitivos. La playa de Vallehermoso está enmarcada por un bello fondo rocoso. El océano Atlántico frente a la costa gomera suele mostrar aquí su lado más bravo, por lo que el baño suele estar reservado a nadadores experimentados incluso en días agradables.

Playa y Parque Marítimo

Sin embargo, detrás de la escarpada costa se ha creado una zona de baño, el "Parque Marítimo" de Vallehermoso. La vista desde la piscina sobre el inmenso mar es preciosa. Vestuarios, duchas y un bar de aperitivos proporcionan comodidad. En los últimos años, el complejo de piscinas y sus instalaciones suelen abrir sólo en los meses de verano.

Unos metros más adelante se encuentra el Castillo del Mar, antigua estación de carga del pueblo, antiguamente con una atractiva cafetería, restaurante y centro cultural, al borde de la playa de Vallehermoso. Actualmente, el Castillo del Mar está cerrado.

The Playa de Vallehermoso beach is located around three kilometers from the pretty town on the often turbulent Atlantic Ocean.

Behind the stony beach of Vallehermoso, a bathing area with swimming pool, changing rooms, showers and snack bar has been created. Vallehermoso beach is framed by a beautiful rocky backdrop. The Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Gomera often shows its rougher side here, so swimming is often reserved for experienced swimmers even on nice days.
