en On the way to Croatian Istria we passed this turn many times, took a quick stop and enjoyed the beautiful view to the bay of Koper and neighboring Italy.
Now we have hidden a cache there.

Happy Hunting,
K&K

Geography:
Istria lies in three countries: Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.
By far the largest portion (89%) lies in Croatia.
The northwestern part of Istria lies in Slovenia: it is known as Slovenian Istria, and includes the coastal municipalities of Piran, Izola and Koper, and the Karstic municipality of Hrpelje-Kozina.
Northwards of Slovenian Istria, there is a tiny portion of the peninsula that lies in Italy. This smallest portion of Istria consists of the comunes of Muggia and San Dorligo della Valle.

Relativ schnell gefunden.

Slowenisch
Na poti na Hrvaško v ekipi H.S.S. (HyppoderEinzige, Saarbock, Skrolan3) se je odpravil na obvoz čez Italijo, saj gospodu in gospe Saarbock še vedno manjkata podeželska spominka v Italiji in Sloveniji.

Najdeno relativno hitro.

**Knocky's & Cachedog Mondi's Summer WCT 2017 - (Birth)-Day 10***Muggia -> Koper -> Valica -> Postojna -> Godovic -> Ljubljana -> Petschnitzen ... 344 km*Even though it was my birthday, the cachedog Mondi and me got up very early. As a present for myself, I wanted to visit two new geocaching-countries today. So we left our nightstop in Muggia (Italy) at 7.15 AM. After I had purchased the road tax disc shortly after the border, we first stopped to search and log "KK on the way to Croatian Istra" ... what we did somehow, too [:o)][:D]. Even though Croatia is already planned as a separate caching destination in the near future, I couldn't withstand doing a first short visit today. So we continued towards Valica where we had a nice early morning walk to visit "Parenzana view" and signed the nice logbook with another (cache)dog on its cover [8D].Thereafter we headed back to Slovenia where our next stop was at the earthcache "Postojna Cave" - an interesting place. After this visit, we left the A1 again to visit the webcam "Zala" near Godovic ... this time I didn't forget to bring our city flag with me to show it here [:D][:D]After doing some shopping to stock up the food in Logatec, we continued towards Ljubljana for our next nightstop. Even though we already arrived there at 2 PM (on a monday), the camperstop was already full. This was the first time I had bad luck on the whole trip [xx(]Since none of the camping cars seemed to plan to leave in the near future, I decided to change my plans. So instead of walking the "Step-by-step" mystery trail together with my cachedog which was planned for the next day, I offl-loaded "the bull" that I was carrying nearly useless at the back of my campingcar. So instead of "stepping" the trail, I cycled it.The day before must have been as worse with heavy rain as it had been in Muggia (see the pictures in my logs for GC54KRW and GCG0B6) since many of the "cache trees" were standing in the water. However, I managed to visit even those without getting too wet ... except of #3 which was unreachable (and definately not a T1.5). I did a photo there and attached it. Hope this is okay, otherwise just delete my log. At "Ig - Konjeniski klub" I couldn't find right away. Since this wall is already pretty worked down, I decided to log a DNF.Back on the Steps-trail I worked myself forward much faster than expected ... up to #30 and #31. The first one I couldn't find even though I searched from both sides of the stream. At the second one, I found an UPS matching the hint, but no cache in place. So another two DNF's! Never mind [:I] But the worst thing was that I couldn't find the bonus cache [xx(][:O][B)] Well, the GPS position was jumping pretty much but the hint and the found place were matching. How can it be that I don't see a LARGE?After I had joined the road again, I met two caches from Latvia who were walking the trail in opposite direction. I showed them the photo of the broken tree at the bonus and they said that this would look like the one that they had seen in other logs ... so I have to assume that I am REALLY BLIND [8][8][8]Well, so instead of the bonus, I visited "Kozlerjeva gosca" [:D] But I left some favorite points along the trail even without the bonus [)][8D]Returning to the cache-campingcar after not even 3 hours, the cachedog was happy to see me back. We made a short walk and then checked the camperstop again. It was still completely occupied [V] So even though I was not really in the mood to do another drive on my birthday, I decided to continue towards Austria already ... this was earliest planned for the next afternoon. After we had finally settled at the campground (for a change), Mondi and me made a nice evening walk to explore 3 of the local caches.TFTC, K&K from Bavaria!-------------*Station 1 von 56 + 4 DNF's**0x TB/Coin dropped**0x TB/Coin retrieved*
